The study tracks platform launches, rebrands, integrations, and bundled strategies, revealing how global players and local services are redefining access and monetization models.
LATAM: Consolidation and Bundled Strategies
Latin America continues to lead innovation in bundled streaming offers.
Prime Video introduces joint plans with Universal+ and MGM+ in Mexico, replicating its USA strategy.
In Brazil, the new Meli+ Mega plan combines Disney+, Netflix, Apple TV+, and HBO Max, plus 30% off Universal+, Paramount+, and Globoplay.
Within Disney+, 91% of Hulu-section titles are Hulu Originals, reinforcing Disney’s unified content ecosystem. Additionally, Hulu officially launched in Latin America, replacing Star+ within Disney+, offering a seamless, all-in-one user experience.
EUROPE: Local Content and New Platforms
European audiences are increasingly embracing free and ad-supported streaming models.
Free streaming penetration grew 13% year over year, while subscription and hybrid models increased 10%.

In the USA and Canada, the streaming landscape shows growing genre segmentation and platform diversification.
Drama leads mobile viewing with 53% share, especially among 25–34-year-olds.
Microdrama platforms are adopting freemium models — free first episodes, with later content unlocked via in-app credits.
Live content remains strong, with 37% of households watching live shows or events.
Recent launches include CNN All Access, GammaTime (microdramas), and Tampa Bay Lightning’s DTC service, while ClipperVision merged into FanDuel Sports Network to boost live sports integration.
APAC: Innovation and Early Adoption
Asia-Pacific continues to drive mobile-first innovation and content experimentation.
The microdrama trend, born in the region, now fuels 47% of mobile viewing. Audiences aged 55+ show surprising engagement growth.
VertiGo TV (India) launched as a one-minute vertical-drama app for Gen Z and millennials. Meanwhile, HBO Max expanded to over 100 markets, strengthening Warner Bros. Discovery’s international footprint.
GLOBAL: Rebrands and Niche Streaming Growth
Globally, streaming is diversifying through brand refreshes and genre-focused platforms.

BloodStream, from The Horror Collective, launched as a global destination for horror, thriller, and sci-fi fans.
JOURNY, from NextTrip, blends travel streaming with e-commerce, while Remy Network (launching November 28) brings hip-hop culture and women’s empowerment to the digital forefront.
